CURENTIS congratulates SV Rot-Weiss Merl on their championship in the Landesliga!

General

The Merl women's season is officially over. For a few weeks now, the girls from Merl have been crowned champions of their Landesliga group. CURENTIS is proud that this great team wears our jersey.

The women from Merl bid farewell to the Landesliga with 15 wins and one defeat and will compete in the Mittelrheinliga in the future. The champions' T-shirts bear the slogan: "Unspoken goal of the season achieved", because throughout the season it was important to those in charge that they took every opponent seriously and did not dream of the championship too early. But now the well-deserved promotion was duly celebrated.

In total, the women from Merl scored an incredible 91 goals and only conceded 9. The women of SV Rot-Weiss Merl also occupy first and second place in the list of goal scorers.

The promotion is highly deserved and confirms the development of the women's team in recent years. The results within the Landesliga were for the most part very clear. At the same time, the women of Rot-Weiss Merl are aware that next season will be more challenging and that a collective further development must take place in order to keep up in the Mittelrheinliga.

The women from Merl will play in the FVM Cup next season as well.

Due to their promotion to the Mittelrheinliga, the women are already seeded as participants in the FVM Cup and exciting duels can be expected here as well. After failing in this year's semi-finals, the women will also try to provide excitement and surprises in the cup next season.

The women from Merl have not yet set clear goals for the next season. But the young and ambitious team wants to be able to give every opponent in the Mittelrheinliga an even fight - accordingly, this year's summer break will be particularly short.

CURENTIS is curious to see how the women will do in the Mittelrheinliga and will continue to accompany them on their way!
