That is CURENTIS. This is WE.
Patricia Kopietz has been a Trainee Consultant at CURENTIS AG since April 2023 and has extensive theoretical and practical knowledge in the areas of criminal sciences, financial crime and terrorism. Patricia holds a university degree in criminal sciences and a commercial diploma.
Why did you choose CURENTIS?
After working in the field of domestic policy for many years, I have been able to study in great detail the workings of various crime phenomena and the respective security gaps at the technical, regulatory, and personnel levels. After a short time in the social sector, I realized that I was missing dealing with crime, which is why I then deliberately chose the AFC field. After all, banks have an immensely important role in fighting crime. That's why I sought a role in anti-financial crime. After the short and unbureaucratic application process and a pleasant interview with the CURENTIS management, I immediately had a sympathetic and competent impression of CURENTIS AG. The decision in favor of CURENTIS was clear to me right away. I am therefore delighted that I can now join the team.
What are your main tasks and what does your daily work look like?
As a trainee in the Anti-Financial Crime department at CURENTIS, it is basically my job to advise financial service providers on their operational work in dealing with a wide range of regulations in the AFC area. At present, I have the opportunity to devote myself intensively to the topic of terrorist financing in all its facets as part of an internal project, which will be published in regular news and summarized in a white paper.
What makes CURENTIS special or exciting for you?
From day one, I immediately felt part of the team and part of CURENTIS. Right from the start, my colleagues took me by the hand and introduced me to consulting with the greatest intensity. At the same time, I was immediately shown great trust, which was expressed by the opportunity to take on responsible tasks directly. The balance between the helpful transfer of knowledge from the consulting field and the appreciation of my expertise in the field of crime made working at CURENTIS something special for me.
