Vladimir Morozov has been part of the AFC Consulting team at CURENTIS AG since April 2022 as a Trainee AFC Consultant. He studied law in Russia and Germany and had already gained experience in AFC at a bank before joining CURENTIS.

Why did you choose CURENTIS?

For me, it was important that the employer was interested in my professional development. CURENTIS offers numerous opportunities for this: Training, mentoring, participation in various projects. I decided that this was a very good opportunity for the initial phase of my career.

What are your tasks and what does your daily work look like?

Currently, my work consists mainly of participating in projects for a client, one of the largest banks. I am working on maintaining a global register of AFC requirements that the bank must take into account in its operations. My colleagues and I are in constant contact with the bank's AFC departments around the world. Developing and testing the IT system for AFC requirements is another important part of my job.

I also work on internal projects at CURENTIS. For example, my project was to write a white paper on KYC in insurance companies. This is a good opportunity to take an in-depth look at one of the AFC topics.

What makes CURENTIS special or exciting for you?

Working on a variety of projects - both with clients and internally - is a great way to gain a comprehensive understanding of a topic as broad as AFC.

The AFC industry is currently undergoing a strong evolution process, and it is exciting to work in a company that is also actively evolving to keep up with the changes.
