What does your daily work look like?
In my current project at a leading major German bank, my tasks are varied.
The main task is to integrate changes in internal processes into the existing anti-money laundering systems. This requires a good understanding of the processes and a great deal of sensitivity during implementation. In addition, I write, translate and publish internal communications relating to the upcoming and newly implemented processes. I am also responsible for conducting training sessions, briefings and Q&A sessions.
What I particularly enjoy is that I can make full use of my project management skills. At the same time, I am also constantly learning new things - be it in the area of KYC or in the field of anti-financial crime.
I also regularly attend training courses and certifications. This allows me to constantly develop and stay up to date. That's very important to me, because in this dynamic industry you always have to be up-to-date.
What does your dream travel destination look like?
My dream destination? Clearly Southeast Asia! I am particularly fascinated by the authentic local cuisine there. The variety of flavors, spices and ingredients in the traditional dishes are unique.
In addition to the culinary delights, the impressive landscape of the region is also very appealing to me. Whether picturesque temples, green rice fields or tropical beaches - every corner holds new wonders. I love strolling through the narrow streets of the cities and striking up a conversation with the people.
Ultimately, it's the mixture of the joy of discovery, openness and fascination for foreign cultures that keeps drawing me back to Southeast Asia. I can switch off there and it's the perfect place to recharge my batteries and draw inspiration.
What came first? Chicken or egg?
The chicken, of course!
