CURENTIS Whitepaper: EU Taxonomy - Classification system for environmentally sustainable economic activities
CURENTIS AG publishes its first white paper on the EU taxonomy on 09.04.2025. Since its adoption in 2020, the regulation has repeatedly given rise to discussions about its function, how it works and, above all, the additional work involved.
The current white paper deals with the contents of the EU taxonomy including the supplementary Delegated Acts as well as the implementation by various other regulations (e.g. CSRD or SFRD). It provides a comprehensive overview and practical guidance on the current and future requirements of the Regulation, taking into account the latest regulatory developments and simplifications announced by the European Commission's Omnibus Initiative in February 2025.
It also takes a critical look at the difficulties for companies and raises the question of whether the regulation meets or exceeds its objectives.
Interested parties can order the white paper free of charge on the CURENTIS website. You can find this and many other publications here https://curentis.com/publikationen/
