CURENTIS on the topic of regulating ESG risks at TDWI Munich 2023
Together with our partner solecon, CURENTIS will present the topic "Regulating ESG risks - a proactive IT strategy" at TDWI Munich 2023 on June 21.
Opportunities and risks from the areas of "Environmental, Social and Governance" are becoming increasingly important for financial institutions. Regulatory requirements for assessment and disclosure of ESG risks are continuously increasing. Their inclusion in risk management is also necessary from an economic perspective.
For banking IT, this means integrating and processing n ew data of a previously unknown type and quality. Heterogeneous, often unstructured data with high granularity must be condensed into ESG metrics: Examples include cadastre, weather data, geological and topographical information, satellite images, certificates and energy performance certificates; analysis and forecasting are hardly feasible without Big Data, AI and Natural Language Processing. At the same time, IT itself is the object of analysis and an ESG sustainability factor.
Sonja Maria Lehmann and Ralf Penndorf will present a proactive solution approach for solecon and CURENTIS. Here you can find the complete program of the event and further information https://www.tdwi-konferenz.de/tdwi-2023/programm/konferenzprogramm
